Rail operations bridge
Located between the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico, and Texas, United States, this bridge was built in 1881, when two rail lines reached Laredo.
Solidarity–Colombia International Bridge
Located in the municipality of Anáhuac, Nuevo León, this is one of the four international vehicle bridges along the United States–Mexico border in the Laredo, Texas region.

As the most competitive customs port in the Americas, “Los Laredos” offers significant advantages for industrial investment. Its strategic geographic location allows goods produced by the manufacturing industry to be transported to multiple destinations at competitive costs.
There are a total of 779 business units in the manufacturing sector, generating approximately 37,999 jobs.

Nuevo Laredo is home to Index, a private association of maquiladora companies that has been part of the National Council of the Maquiladora and Export Manufacturing Industry (Index) since 2005. Index provides specialized representation to its members, ensuring support and advocacy for their interests.
In addition, Index represents 95% of the maquiladoras established in Nuevo Laredo and 94% of employment in the industry, generating more than 30,000 direct jobs.
